Because care doesn’t stop at 5pm

At Evergreen, we believe in person-centered care at all hours—and that includes making sure leadership is accessible, even outside of typical business hours.

We know this isn’t a Monday-to-Friday job. That’s why a small group of us rotate after-hours support, spreading it out in a way that’s sustainable and respectful of our lives, families, and wellbeing.

How to Reach Leadership After Hours

1. Low-Priority / Non-Urgent Issues

Tag us on Ryver
When you tag us on Ryver, it sends a notification to our email. This is a great option for things that aren’t urgent—because we will see it within a few hours. Just know we may not be actively checking the app itself after hours.

2. Moderate Urgency

Send a Text
A text message gives us about 20–30 minutes to check and respond. This is a respectful way to reach us when something is important but not emergent. Text is simple and less disruptive, especially after a long workday.

3. Emergency

Call Directly
If something is urgent—like a resident becoming unstable or a safety issue in the building—please don’t wait. Call right away.

Other rotating on-call team members include:

Nikki, Becky, Tina, Ella, Martha, Sandra, Gen

The on-call schedule is posted weekly. When someone else is on, it will be clearly noted.

This ensures the on-call person receives the update and can respond accordingly.

If making a note on the Shuffle board, please use tags.

Contact leadership/admin prior to contacting an employee that has not arrived.
