Hygiene Items:

A generic line of soap and toilet paper will be provided by Evergreen. Bath and hand towels and face clothes are supplied.

Utilities:

Basic electric charges (each room has its own adjustable thermostat and baseboard electrical heater.) Hydro surcharges are applicable for certain additional equipment not covered in basic.

Internet:

Free guest wifi available. Please ask a team member for login and password.

Food Service:

Meals, snacks, coffee, tea, apple, orange and cranberry juice.

Linens:

Flat linens, blankets, pillows (prefer you supply your own labelled pillow), towels and face clothes are provided.

Laundry Service:

Washing and drying of washable personal clothing and fresh bed and bath linens.

Housekeeping:

Weekly cleaning of resident room.

Furnishings:

Bed, mattress and bedroom furniture including night-table, armoire, and a dresser.

Engagement Program:

A planned engagement program which includes exercise and walking programs, recreational activities, social functions, and the utilization of available community resources.

Additional charges for the following:

• Any expenses for moving in or out of the long-term care home

• Medications not covered through Pharmacare such as non-prescription drugs, vitamins, herbal remedies and some specialized medications

• Personal transportation including to and from medical and dental appointments

• Ambulance charges

• Labeling of clothing and other personal items

• Dentures

• Eye glasses and examinations

• Personal care items, such as toothbrush, toothpaste, denture brush, electric razor and blades, hairbrush, nail clippers, etc

• Monthly cable

• Personal telephone

• Foot care

• Hearing aids and batteries

• Costs for additional recreational opportunities such as dining out, ordering in, drives or shopping

• Oxygen Therapy or Positive Airway Pressure Machines (CPAP, BiPAP)

• Personal newspaper and magazine subscriptions
